The story
behind Nava
Built on relationships, shaped by experience
Nava was created to bring a different kind of accountancy service to small businesses: one built on real relationships, clear communication and thoughtful support. I saw how many business owners were left feeling overwhelmed or overlooked, and wanted to offer something more personal, more practical and genuinely useful.
I’ve worked with business owners from all walks of life, from solo founders to growing teams, and I’ve seen the difference the right support can make.
I’m Nicole Ward, ACCA qualified, and I’ve been working in accountancy since 2010. Over the years I’ve worked with businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries, from start ups to companies with turnovers of £40m. What’s always mattered most to me is helping business owners understand their numbers, make confident decisions, and reach their goals. That sense of clarity and care is what inspired me to build NAVA.
Outside of work, I love to travel. I’ve visited more than 15 countries in recent years and I’m happiest in the Lake District, where my husband and I got married in 2024. It’s our go to place to switch off and recharge. One day, I’m hoping we’ll add a dog to the family too!
